Research interests
I am fascinated by the large large-scale impacts that anthropometric climate change has imparted on our terrestrial and oceanic ecosystems. In particular, I am interested in leveraging remotely sensed datasets to track these impacts at a global scale over long time periods in order to better understand the effects that they may have on society in the coming century.
Personal interests
I love to be outdoors! Skiing, running, mountain biking, backpacking, rock climbing-if it involves some sort of topography, I’m all for it! I also enjoy amateur radio, science fiction movies (the cornier the better), brewing beer, and reading about astronomy and contemporary Eastern European history.
