Research interests

I am interested in the study of environmental processes at multiple spatial and temporal scales in order to be able to understand them and to predict the consequences of both natural and human disturbances. As an undergraduate student I started studying the water partitioning function of soils in urban areas. Now, my Ph.D research is focused on studying the fire regime in the mountains of Cordoba, central Argentina using mid-high spatial resolution satellite imagery. My project at the SILVIS Lab is focused on mapping the Wildland-Urban Interface in my study area to evaluate wildfire risks to people and their goods.
