Research interests

I am interested in conservation of wildlife populations. I worked with endangered cranes studying bioacoustical ways to approach conservation. Lately, I did population modeling of several mammal species in Russia to explore population trends. I am also interested in spatial and temporal drivers behind population dynamics, namely habitat change, social and economic reasons and so on.

Personal interests

I enjoy reading, dancing, mountaineering, canoeing and camping.
