Research interests

GIS applications in physical geography, especially in landscape ecology. Categorized and continuous models of landscape structure. Methods of landscape pattern investigation. Determination of pattern-process relationships in heterogeneous landscapes. Assessment of landscape connectivity and ecological corridors evaluation. Programming languages in GIS. Application of mathematical theories (e.g. graph theory) in landscape ecology studies.

Personal interests

I enjoy spending my free time with family and friends, doing sports (especially running, swimming and climbing), listening to good music and cooking. I also love to travel, explore new cultures, their language, customs and culinary specialties. I especially enjoy long backpacking trips...
