Research interests
My research interests focus mainly in the long term interactions between human activities and arid ecosystems. I'm particularly interested in understanding how the pace of anthropization modifies the structure and function of key arid ecosystems (oases, mangroves, vernal pools, etc.).
Personal interests
I enjoy cooking for my family and friends, then eating with them and having a great laugh. I'm starting to explore the fascinating landscapes of the peninsula of Baja California, tracing the first European settlements and discovering their hidden stories.
